EVB packaged games: detection conditions
Understand the MV/MZ EVB detection path and its limits.
EVB is a format, not an engine
Enigma Virtual Box can bundle files into an executable. A single EXE is not necessarily EVB, and a missing www folder does not identify this format.
What LRPGM must recognize
The application must identify the container, open its virtual structure and recognize MV/MZ. Modified or unrecognized structures can prevent processing. Detecting the engine does not establish plugin, translation or runtime compatibility.
Before starting
- Preserve an intact copy of the game.
- Add the executable and read the detection result.
- Check selected content, account access and messages before translating or applying.
- Test the copy after applying; application can change files and containers.
The website Beta does not open EVB. Analyze the container in the application. See compatibility and troubleshooting.
