Update an existing translation

Objective: Re-extract and reconcile an already translated project, processing content identified as necessary.

Applies to: Basic/Plus with a recognized intact existing translation. Free does not enable this workflow. A different game or incompatible changes are not guaranteed updates.

Before starting: Preserve the previous version and working copy. Check account, engine, recognized translation and integrity messages. Have a valid provider for content requiring translation.

Steps

1. Select the existing library project and open its translation configuration.
2. Choose Update when enabled. Do not choose a new translation just because you cannot find previous output.
3. Confirm that recognized output belongs to the correct project. Stop and investigate missing data or integrity errors; do not bypass validation.
4. Review languages, provider and scope. Selection changes affect re-extraction and processing.
5. Start the update and monitor reconciliation. It aims to reuse existing output and process necessary content; arbitrary modifications are not guaranteed to preserve all edits.
6. Review the result when offered, especially new or changed content.
7. Apply once, then test changed passages and a sample of previously translated content.

Expected result: The project is updated through its dedicated workflow. Confirm output and preserved edits in the actual project.

If it fails: An unavailable action may indicate plan, missing recognized output or invalid state. Preserve the message and old version. Do not rename integrity files to force recognition.
